Raisio provides guidance for its 2024 comparable EBIT to either remain at the same level as 2023 or slightly increase. In 2023, Raisio’s comparable EBIT was EUR 22.7 million.
Raisio updated the financial targets for its strategy period 2022–2025 in December 2022. Since then, the sharp change in consumer behaviour that occurred in 2023 has been reflected in Raisio’s business as a halt in net sales growth. At the same time, Raisio’s profitability, however, has improved significantly.
As visibility on market development continues to be low and consumer purchasing power is expected to remain weak also in 2024, Raisio updates its financial targets for the strategy period 2022–2025.
Our strong financial standing creates a solid basis for accelerating growth during the strategy period. Although we have invested a total of nearly EUR 70 million in our production facilities and our expertise in plant-based foods and related technologies during the last three years, our financial position has remained strong.
Our goal is to reward shareholders also in the coming years of building growth and to pay an annual dividend of 50–100% of the company’s earnings per share. In addition, we aim to return value to shareholders through, for example, payment of extra dividends and other ways made possible by a strong balance sheet.
