Raisio Group’s new food factory has been taken into use during spring 2021, and the first products produced there will be in stores at the turn of August and September 2021. The modern highly-automated plant ensures stable quality, best possible product safety and perfect traceability.
The new factory is specifically designed and built to process and manufacture only plant-based raw materials and products. The factory is highly automated, which from the customer’s perspective means minimised human error, consistent quality and the best possible product safety. Automation ensures full traceability, not only of raw materials but also of the equipment and process parameters used for each batch.
The new production facility is vegan, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free and nut-free.
The plant is located in the Raisio Group’s carbon-neutral Raisionkaari industrial area. The plant’s heat and steam comes from our own bioenergy plant that uses wood chips. The electricity we buy is carbon dioxide free, and has been for 10 years.
